Hello all! The new version 2.0 is already online, so please go check it out! Please feel free to
post any comments. Also if you like the app please rate it.

I'm ready to hear you about iEmotion and what are your wishes/requests for the new version.

Thanks!

The new iEmotion will be available as soon as Apple reviews the new version. I completely changed the scale and moods, which is now called the iEmotional Scale. This new scale is much more realistic and will apply perfectly on your current moods.

Also on version 2.0 you will find the screen readability is improved, as the emotion decriptions are much bigger now. Some other minor interface improvements turns version 2.0 a better app to use daily.

iEmotion received a new review from one of our users. I would like to thank you for your comments, as they provide insightful observations about iEmotion. The user says she thinks iEmotion is a great idea, and she could prove that using it daily and then checking the graph and comments later is a great tool to improve self-knowledge and of course to get better and better. She also asks for a way to select emotions in an hourly basis. As iEmotion doesn't provide a way to do this, she thinks in an "average" emotion for the day on bedtime, adding through daily comments specific details.

I agree that people needs a way to insert comments and emotions daily. I'm thinking in a new version that uses the calendar to take notes of comments and emotions. Probably it will be a new version or even a new application focused on specific tasks like anxiety monitoring, including automatic thoughts, situations, rational response, and other well studied self analysis tools from Psychology's realm.

PS: iEmotion 1.1 is not being selled anymore. Please wait until version 2.0 is approved to get it.

Hello World!

iEmotion is my first experience with iTunes publishing, and it's being a long but nice ride. People out there say that getting an app published requires time and effort on the developer side. Yes, it's true. You have to manage contracts, financial data, development, art requests, constant releases, upgrades, updates, there are a lot of stuff to do.

After getting all those things done, you can sit back and relax. It's really nice to check how many units you sold each day. You can count with iTunes great reach, so even with a little marketing users will somehow find you app. And the best of all, I'm talking about worldwide users.

Right now I have users from USA, Brazil, UK, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Germany, Australia and Japan!!!

Let's keep walking to a new self-conscious world!

Thank you for buying iEmotion! Right now iEmotion has sold 5 units, 3 in USA and 2 in England. I'm happy that people are finding iEmotion on iTunes, and starting to track their emotions, moods, and of course taking notes using the comments button. I will keep you posted about news.

Also, I would be very happy to hear from you about improvements and user experiences.

Cya!

That's it, finally iEmotion 1.0 is ready to everyone! iEmotion is available worldwide right now, and you can use it in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Click on the link on the left to check iEmotion on iTunes.

Here is a short description about the app:

iEmotion is the way to track your emotions in a nice and organized fashion. You select your current emotional state for the day. Each state is shown graphically using a cool animation so you can easily recognize how are you feeling. You can also add your own comments explaining what happened to you on this particular day.

iEmotion keeps track of all your records, and can show a graph with historical data. You can customize the timeframe by selecting 3, 6, 9 or 12 months view span. Each day on the graph is available to you, so you can view again your comments and understand how you rated the day.

By analyzing iEmotion information on the graphs and through your comments, you have a powerful tool for self-knowledge. You will observe what turns you up or down, and furthermore, change bad habits and poor behaviors that keep you away from feeling fine.
