How many characters does each emotions use. ie how much does it cost to use. I have noticed that when an emotion is inserted the text message has a spare line between each line of text

Hi Gary, I don't know if I understood your question. Each emotion uses an unique animation, and its description characters count is variable. These are just the descriptions based on the Emotional Scale. You can also insert your own comment selecting the Comments button. You are free to type how many characters you want there (iPhone has a limitation, but I'm positive that it's enough).

Hope I answered your question. Otherwise feel free to ask again providing more details.

    Thanks!

Yeah! thanks for answering. I don't think u quite understood me. I would like to know how many text characters each emotion uses. Let's say the usual single text is 140 characters long. How many emotions could you send for one message? I had an unlimited text bolt on with O2 but since I have upgraded my phone to the 3GS The bolt on is no longer available :( so I am stuck with only 600 texts a month. Things like MMS messages use as many as 4 texts for each send.

Ok, here we go :). iEmotion doesn't use SMS or MMS. The icons and texts are there just to visualize (have a graphical representation) the emotion's number. So when you select 1, you know it's love and you see an angel smiley. But you can't send that. You can write comments, but those are saved on iPhone. Think on it like a "advanced" personal diary, ok? Regards.

erm! Still don't understand what you mean iemotion must use sms if I'm sending a text message. Do you mean the the symbols say :) would be interpreted as a smilee and converted at the reciprients phone as a graphic or picture. If so it would use two sms characters?

I think you are looking for emoticon support. You can find this on apps like iEmoticons or Emoji icons. You can use their emoticons on SMS, mails, etc...
